15. When I go to bed, I like to attach my pump to my IV pole, and hang the bag from it because it's easier to sleep that way and I'm less likely to get tangled in the tubing. I stop my pump and disconnect the bag tubing from my j-tube. I take the pump and bag out of the holder, and attach my pump to the battery charger on my pole which is plugged into the wall, so it charges while it pumps! I hang my bag at the top of my pole and turn off my lights and go to sleep. 16. Sometimes my tubing disconnects from me during the night, and formula spills all over my bed and I wake up wet and sticky in the middle of the night. Also, a lot of nights my pump will beep several times during the night and wake me up and I have to restart it. Sometimes it does it so much that I get mad and cut it off. 17. When I get up in the morning, I disconnect, throw out my bag, and flush out my tube again. I have to take my medication again in the morning. I spend almost 22 hours every day hooked up to my pump, so not long after I get up I have to hook up again.
